WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Payment Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating and maintaining payment methods through gateways like Payment IQ and Praxis, ensuring their optimal operation at all times.  Acting as the primary contact between clients, PSPs, and other parties, you will provide regular updates and be accessible for urgent payment issue resolution outside standard business hours.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Integrate and maintain payment methods through gateways, including but not limited to Payment IQ and Praxis.
• Ensure payment methods are operational and running optimally at all times.
• Implement fallbacks and contingencies to ensure minimal to no disruption in payment services.
• Create and monitor reports, focusing on continuously improving acceptance rates.
• Apply necessary changes to payment routing as required.
• Act as a first point of contact between clients, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and other relevant parties.
• Liaise with clients promptly, providing regular updates on actions and status.
• Be accessible for urgent payment issue resolution outside standard business hours.
• Perform any other role as required by the company.

 

WHO ARE YOU?

 

• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within the online gaming sector or a similar industry.
• Basic understanding of payment transaction flow of funds.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manipulate and interpret data to produce insightful conclusions.
• Experience managing competing priorities, with excellent planning skills to meet objectives and goals.
• Demonstrated efficiency in promptly handling tasks and adapting well to change.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to document processes and procedures effectively.
• Technical proficiency in integrating diverse payment platforms with existing systems to deliver a cohesive client experience.
• Proactive mindset, with a solutions-oriented approach and the ability to adjust priorities as needed.
• Constructive problem-solving abilities, providing in-depth insights and informed decision-making.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
