I’m joined with Glenn from BET starters today uh Glenn what do you see as the biggest Trends in the IG gaming industry uh particularly in the emerged markets yes um so these Trends I think I have been going on for quite some time it’s not like something you know just came up right now during this time but definitely especially from our point of view obviously the mobile first approach is probably one of the biggest Trends that’s been going over four years we always hear you know mobile first and it

00:00:31
is in fact the truth I mean considering the percentages of certain countries where the use of mobile ahead of laptops or PCS or other devices it’s probably around would be over 80 and 90 in particular with regards to Emerging Markets like Africa then yes the penetration with mobile first is extremely important so whatever you do you need to do mobile first we also see obviously you know anything something that’s recent is obviously the AI integration of AI a lot of uh a lot of companies now like to use AI especially

00:01:05
for player personalized experiences even for fraud prevention you know for customer care so AI has become extremely important and at this point I would say necessary technological advancement that needs to be done it’s not something nice to have but rather something that needs to be to be have yeah right then if we look at you know other maybe not technical aspects um there’s the localization I mean when I started off I remember 20 years ago when we were with operators I didn’t really differentiate between

00:01:38
different um sort of countries you know the localization as such nowadays localization is extremely important especially if you need to focus in a specific region or a specific country right so in that case yes uh you need to be tailor you know you need to tailor make tailor games and services based on that uh culture preferences know languages and even pay paying methods you know what might work in one country or region might not work in another no no I mean things change constantly as well and uh it’s it’s very right what

00:02:14
you say about AI it’s not just a catchphrase anymore it’s uh I was in ice in Barcelona and I saw some AI generated videos it’s amazing what’s coming so if you if you slack there I think you’re right that you’re going to fall behind I think I I know which one you’re referring to but I don’t think we managed to meet each other over there no I don’t think so but uh there was a couple of others there as well yeah yeah so how has how would you say the demand of uh white white label and TurnKey

00:02:47
Solutions uh how how has that evolved over the years have you seen any changes or can you share uh some well definitely I think the biggest not concern but the biggest priority for for operators you know when they go for a white labor solution is um basically the you know to time to market right the faster time to market the better so they want speak they want you know they want results yesterday not today so you want to get things going as ASAP and that’s probably you know the biggest push

00:03:21
because thing is that when you enter a market you want to be one of the first ones or at least you know you have to have the advantage you know the foot already set so that you have disadvantage over others which probably know could be quite instrumental in the long run one other aspect is definitely that whereas before maybe know white label Solutions were one size fit all nowadays a lot of The Operators require customizations right so they would have their own you know ideas of how things should be done and the way it should be

00:03:53
done so whereas before it was a one siiz foot s nowadays I think it’s more customizable you need to more to adapt and so yeah puts a little bit more pressure on uh your company then I guess it does but you know what I mean if you’re working with the right platform provider I don’t think that these are issues in fact as starters for example we offer a modular kind of and scalable kind of you know architectural platform so whatever is needed you know can have bits and pieces based on on your needs

00:04:25
and obviously we adapt accordingly yeah and we we talked a little bit about about Ai and all of this but as a CEO uh how do you balance balance Innovation at the same time maintain the operational efficiency because I mean developing new things and innovating traditionally it’s it’s seen as kind of a resource hog so how do how do you balance out these these things well first all to think that you know both things go hand in hand because you know with Innovation you’re obviously um making maintain you

00:04:59
know operational efficiency for sure because the more I I’m a strong believer you know that uh the more Innovations the more automations you have the better operational efficiency because let’s say it I mean when there’s a human intervention there’s it’s more prone to have issues or mistakes and so on and so forth so the more automation there is in place the better for for the company and focusing on Innovation definitely you know can have an impact on the on the user experience or client experience right

00:05:33
and it will definitely reduce cost for you and for for the client themselves yeah I think that’s uh very good summed up and uh after 19 20 years actually in this industry I mean it’s it’s always been fastpaced and it’s it’s not slow slowing down what keeps you passionate and motivated uh to uh you know on Monday morning log in to uh log into the laptop go to the office what keeps keeps you going yeah well you know to be fair this industry we’re in it’s not like it’s uh blocked and or has been no like

00:06:09
as it is for the past 20 years it’s continuously evolving and the way it evolves know it’s exciting because you there’s always going to be a new thing a new trend uh you know right now it’s like we said before it’s about AI from a technolog aspect or there’s the sweep Stakes Casino seem to be quite popular at the moment as well for the US market so there’s always something new not keeps you interested and from a personal point of view you know the fact you know the opportunity to be able to shape the

00:06:36
future of the IG gaming landscape You know despite not not being so young anymore you know it’s still an exciting aspect um also of course you know I mean during my years I’ve met a lot of really talented individuals you know so being able to work with them you know to discuss with them to to share ideas I think it really helps to build lasting relationships and be able to work together you know and keep things going yeah definitely I can uh I can relate I can really relate that’s it really from

00:07:11
uh from my side is there anything else you would like to uh to mention to uh to bring up no I mean if I may I can always mention about about best starters I mean as I told you we’re basically focused on uh Emerging Markets right we provide white label and tery solutions for for operators who want to get into these markets and we offer modular and scalable technology to help both startups and established parents yeah well thank you so much for your time Glenn it’s been a pleasure talking to

00:07:46
you and good luck in the future same to you speak to you soon bye bye speak to you soon bye
