On Thursday (today), KYZEN CEO Carl DeGiorgio vented his frustration over claims that some professionals do not accept constructive criticism.

“Service costs nothing to deliver, yet it is incredible how many so-called professionals and companies neglect it,” he said on LinkedIn.

The issues stem from a recent encounter at the doctor’s clinic where Mr DeGiorgio passed on feedback about the way clients were being handled.

“I asked to be listened to and not to be interrupted nor to be spoken to in a condescending manner,” he continued.

Mr DeGiorgio stated that constructive criticism was not taken and he was asked to leave the clinic and never return.

“There is no individual, nor any profession in the world that does not have room for growth, but it comes with constructive criticism,” he shared.

Wrapping up his thoughts, his word of advice was to not let ego destroy that potential, “and put a ceiling on your growth.”
